Well the, what I presume is a Honda gas tank, is the last thing I would expect to run into in those beautiful woods. Perhaps it is biodegradable....you think? :)
Lovely photos and worthy of framing, until the gas tank (I agree with Alan). Why would someone leave that there?
Alan, Barbara Anne: I photographed the Honda tank because it was colourful and I liked the wing logo. These woods were once the site of a hippie commune and later a Katimavik work/living site. The woods are full of artifacts from those days and I rather enjoy finding them, they are like modern day archaeological finds.
I am not sure of the story behind the Honda tank, I am sure Mike could tell me, but I have not yet gotten around to asking him. I just find the juxtaposition of natural and human-made objects interesting...
